It’s our second annual studio open day!
Visit Viola in Mooresburg on this one special day. We will be opening up our doors to shoppers and visitors, stocking the old general store shelves with lots of yarn, cleaning up in the dye studio and hosting some special guests as well! This is a rare opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes into our workspace and a chance to shop for Viola yarn in person at the same time, we are really looking forward to meeting you and sharing out world.
If you are planning to visit us on July 27th, you may want to consider spending the night, weekend or even longer in our beautiful part of Ontario. We have put together a little guide to accommodations in the area in this blog post. If you have any further questions about places to stay, transport and the options available to you please reach out to us at email@example.com
Take a peek at this blog post for our guide to the area which includes all of our favourite places to go and things to do. We hope that it will help you plan your trip to Grey Bruce (Mooresburg is in Grey County and Bruce county is next to us…so the two are plopped together and called Grey Bruce for some reason)
Some friends will be joining us at this year’s Open Day as well! In addition to lots of Viola yarn, you will also be able to shop for jewellery from Hedgling, handwoven cloth from Amanda Rataj, Knitting patterns (and kits with Viola yarn!) from Kiyomi Burgin (Needle Leaf Knits), project bags and totes from Bookhou, sheepskins from our neighbours at Black Sheep Farm and knitting sheaths carved by my friend and neighbour Hans Peter!
