the end of a KAL

This knit a long has been so much fun! I am over the moon every single time I see a project knit in Viola yarn (I don't believe the thrill ever wears off) So you can imagine that seeing a constant stream of beautiful garments accumulating in our KAL thread was downright overwhelming...in a good way! Thank you everyone who participated!

I spent the morning making a little video for Instagram, which you can watch if you click through to the post, here. If my to do list for the day were a little bit shorter, I would likely still be rearranging little bits of glittery paper...alas I am not.

I drew 3 names from a favourite crock pot this morning. Each of these 3 KAL 'winners' will now have the choice of 2 different prizes...

1. A custom order of any colourway on any base that that I currently dye, at a 15% discount. I'm thinking that you've just knit up a garmet's worth of Viola yarn, you may want to replenish your stores. If you select this option, we'll chat about your colour pick. I am sure that if you have used Viola yarn in the past, you already know how much variation there can be from batch to batch and that Eclipse colourways are non-repeatable.

Available base yarns for you to choose from...

Mooresburg DK, Shadow, DK, Cashmere + Silk, Sock, Merino Fingering, Mohair Lace, Merino Lace, MCN Worsted and Polwarth + Alpaca.

delivery of your order will vary depending on which base yarn you choose, and I will inform you of the schedule once I have all 3 prize reuests.

2. 2 skeins of Vintage Viola MCN Worsted in the Ghost colourway. This yarn is from my personal stash, and I love it so much that I can't settle on a project for it! I figure that my time is up, and i'd better hand it off to another knitter who may have better luck using this super special yarn...
