Knits About Winter is a printed collection of 12 knitting patterns created in collaboration with my friends, Pom Pom Press. Inspired by the quiet mystery of winter, and the magical, yet harsh landscape I have discovered in my rural home of Mooresburg, Ontario. Each pattern treads a line between the practicality of keeping warm and the subtle and hidden beauty of winter. I spent winter of 2017 bundled up next to the wood stove, knitting, writing, drawing and creating new colourways for this book. It’s been over a year in the making, and I am overwhelmed with excitement to finally be able to share this work with you!
There is so much about this project to share, reveal and discuss that I scarcely know where to begin. Click through to this page for workshops, book signings and events near you!
