I almost kept this...

In the tradition of me and shop updates, there have been a few hairy moments where I really did almost keep...a lot.

I'm not sure It'll ever be easy to part with these creations, but I am comforted to know that they are going to very good homes. I couldn't knit all the yarn that I have as it is, it would just be greedy to actually keep it all!

Here's a peek at some of the colours that just slipped past this time round 😬 ...

down to the wire (because I still haven't settled on a real name...but this is what I'm going to call it for now) - merino fingering

Mooresburg - mooresburg DK

Mooresburg - mooresburg DK

I have to say that this batch of Mooresburg / Mooresburg emerged completely different to any other. I considered giving it another name, or calling it an Eclipse, but the same dyes went in there and it is technically the same colour. In the end, I decided that the Mooresburg colourway can change just as it's landscape does. So, here is a quite unexpected spring-time version of Mooresburg (Please don't ask me to make it again, I couldn't if I tried!) It is seriously beautiful though.

it's Down to the Wire again, on Mooresburg DK. This time, it came out with brilliant streaks of coral pink in there...obviously I cannot stop staring at it.

I could go on all day, but I must get these listings ready for tomorrow. It has been such a pleasure to dye cashmere + silk again after such a long time apart. This yarn takes dye beautifully. It is practically weightless, making it ideal for garments (I'm thinking of a cardi for me still....stay tuned) Each skein is 50g / 163m of 65% cashmere and 35% silk heaven! Each skein is $27 USD and there are sweater quantities for all - Its a real treat to knit!

I would also like to point out that in my excitement and haste, I foolishly scheduled this update for the very day our clocks turn forward over here...in Eastern Standard Time land. Please, if you are in another time zone, and daylight savings time happens on a different date for you, do take this into account. At 2AM tomorrow, my clock turns forward by one hour, so my 10 AM scheduled time will be an hour earlier for anyone else out there. Your I phone can explain this better than me, but please be aware.

hope to see you tomorrow, Sunday March 12th @ 10am EST!
